Synopsis:

Children have a natural curiosity for discovery, especially toddlers! Research indicates there is a period of very rapid synapse development from birth through age three, therefore, early childhood educators must provide diverse learning opportunities for toddlers to explore. Educators can introduce creative thinking and problem-solving skills by offering STEM tools to young children. In this session, we will look at the educational benefits of STEM in the early years and offer strategies to blend in STEM activities with the daily play activities offered to toddlers. Participants will takeaway several ready-to-use activities to implement in their classrooms.
